Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. seeks a Mobile Equipment Operator I for night shifts at our quarry sites in Kentucky. You will transport materials and operate heavy equipment including haul trucks and loaders, while following safety protocols and reporting issues to supervision.

The role requires the ability to work in varying weather, basic reading/writing, and teamwork in a fast-paced construction environment. Overtime, weekend work, and shift flexibility may apply; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Education: Ability to read and write.
• Education Preferred: High School diploma or GED.
• Required Work Experience: Experience working in varying weather elements. Quarry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks and other mobile equipment (e.g., water trucks, rock breakers, fuel trucks).
• Inspect equipment at each shift and report issues.
• Correct malfunctions or safety hazards or report to quarry supervisor if corrections cannot be made.
• Perform site cleanup to ensure a safe working environment.
• Take accurate counts of material additions and adjust material blends as required.
• Maintain communication with quality personnel and coordinate plant operations.
• Communicate safety, maintenance and production needs; perform other duties as assigned.
