Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for a day shift on our North American sites. You will operate limestone quarry and plant mobile equipment, working under a salaried supervisor to coordinate tasks across production and maintenance teams.

The role requires endurance to hot/cold, dusty, noisy conditions and occasional climbs of stairs and ladders. Safety comes first: strict adherence to PPE and health, safety, and environmental policies, with potential overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Haul trucks, loaders, and mine equipment experience preferred
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Adhere to all safety protocols and use of PPE (including respirators)

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment for limestone quarry and plant tasks.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance to minimize interruptions.
• Navigate plant areas, stairs, ladders, and perform tasks in hot/cold, dusty, noisy, or confined spaces while using PPE.
• Support health, safety, and environmental policies on all work environments.
