AkzoNobel is seeking a Quality Technician in High Point, NC, to coordinate sample collection from production batches and perform complex testing of product characteristics using precise instruments. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and documentation under established procedures.

The position requires 1–2 years of technical or chemistry-related education, familiarity with MS Office, good eyesight, and the ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1-2 years technical or community college courses with emphasis on physical science.
• Microsoft Office skills required (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Near vision to read labels and see details up close with/without corrective lenses.
• Must score a 32 or lower on a Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Color test.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment.
• Record and report observations or test results clearly.
• Perform a wide variety of testing on production batches to measure physical or chemical characteristics.
• Work with QC, production and development staff to evaluate problems and identify causes.
