Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or science or an associates degree or 1+ year laboratory experience.
• 1-3 years of relevant lab experience.
• Microsoft Office skills required (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excel skill level intermediate to advanced.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the collection of random samples from production batches/lots.
• Perform a wide variety of complex testing processes to measure product’s physical characteristics.
• Test and conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished product.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment.
• Record and report observations or test results in QC records.
• Work with QC manager, production staff, and development staff to evaluate production problems.
• Assist in calibration plans and development of SOPs.
• Participate in root cause investigations.
