Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Quality Control Technician to maintain QC processes, test products, and analyze results to meet quality specs. You will test production batches, interpret data, and advise on batch adjustments to ensure customer requirements are met.

The role involves night shift on a 2-2-3 COS schedule (6:00pm–6:30am) with eligibility for a performance-based bonus. Training of other lab staff may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality control laboratory is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution facility is preferred.
• Associate degree or higher in Chemistry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tests are completed and results meet specifications before proceeding.
• Enter batch data into the electronic batch records system.
• Generate paperwork per customer specifications and send samples as required.
• Utilize computer systems to test products effectively.
• Identify disposition of non-conforming finished goods and hold material as needed.
• Assist in maintaining ISO and Safety Systems and update SOPs.
