Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Quality Control Technician to monitor testing processes, interpret results, and ensure products meet quality specifications. You will work with production personnel to adjust batches and maintain ISO-compliant procedures.

The role involves data entry, batch record management, and collaboration with multiple departments to address product issues and ensure customer requirements are met.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a quality control laboratory.
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution facility.
• Associate's degree or higher in Chemistry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tests are completed and results meet specifications before next production step.
• Enter batch data into the electronic batch records system.
• Generate appropriate paperwork per customer specifications.
• Gather and send customer samples as required.
• Identify and communicate product issues to other departments as needed.
• Create, maintain, and update standard operating procedures for Quality Department to meet ISO requirements.
• Assist in training of other lab technicians.
