Job summary

H & T Kansas is seeking a Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team in Kansas. You will perform inspection, verification, and containment to ensure conformance to specifications, supporting engineering with containment and continuous improvement.

You will monitor measurement systems, document results, and participate in root-cause analysis while adhering to ISO 9001 standards. The role involves night shifts with a 10% differential and overtime as needed, on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred in QA/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
• At least 3 years in a manufacturing environment with QA/QC experience.
• Yellow Belt Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Experience with CPK, Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and ISO 9001.
• Proficient with measurement tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, verification, and containment duties to ensure product conformance.
• Evaluate parts from various lines and flag suspect or nonconforming parts.
• Document discrepancies and measurement results for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support engineering with containment processes and continuous quality improvement.
