Job summary

TekniPlex is seeking a Quality Tech for the 3rd shift to inspect, verify and document quality on raw materials, in-process items and finished goods to meet customer specifications. Hours are 8pm–6am, Sunday through Thursday, with a pay range of $20–$23 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; chemistry background preferred.
• 1–3 years of quality control experience.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Ability to read gauges, calipers, rulers and tape measures.
• Stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and quality control tests to ensure standards.
• Maintain records of tests, inspection results, and observations.
• Notify production personnel of deviations in product quality and mark deviants.
• Inspect incoming raw materials and finished products for specifications.
• Assist with setup and cleanup of presses when machines are down.
• Support site in meeting quality objectives.
• Navigate Quality Data Results and other systems (Inventory, Documentation, Audits, Training).
