Job summary

Tekni-Plex, Inc. is seeking a Quality Tech for the 3rd shift (8pm–6am, Sun–Thu). The role involves inspecting, testing, and documenting quality for incoming, in-process, and finished goods; calibrating instruments and controlling quality data; supporting OHSE for a safe workplace and product safety.

You will maintain records, navigate multiple software systems, and help the site meet quality objectives. A high school diploma and 1–3 years QC experience are preferred, with a chemistry background

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent. Chemistry background preferred.
• 1-3 years of quality control experience preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and qualify control tests to ensure quality standards.
• Follow OHSE and quality systems to maintain a safe workplace and quality product.
• Inspect and test incoming raw materials and finished products for spec conformance.
• Maintain records of tests, inspection results, and observations.
• Notify production of deviations and mark deviant products.
• Assist with setup and cleanup of presses when machine is down.
