Job summary

CHASE Staffing is seeking a dependable Quality Lab Assistant to support a manufacturing quality lab during a temporary production increase. The position is Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, on-site, with an overnight shift and possible overtime.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of quality testing in manufacturing or production.
• Strong attention to detail.
• No attendance issues.
• Reliable with good work ethic.
• Background in quality inspection or lab is a plus.
• Ability to follow written instructions and record results accurately.
• Proficient computer use for data entry.
• Dependable attendance and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing and visual inspections.
• Verify materials meet specifications.
• Review production paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
• Enter test results and maintain quality records.
• Perform routine equipment calibration checks.
• Identify, document, and tag materials that do not meet quality requirements.
• Communicate inspection results and concerns to production staff.
• Maintain organized files and a clean, orderly work area.
• Follow all safety procedures.
