Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Altavista, VA is seeking a Quality Inspector for night shifts (12-hour). The role ensures bottle and final package quality before shipment and trains new personnel on quality systems.

You will work with Supervisors and production to maintain quality, operate inspection devices, and enter data into SPC databases while contributing to continuous improvement and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and complete assignments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure bottle and final package meet quality standards before shipment.
• Train new personnel on quality systems and practices.
• Follow safety, GMP policies, and plant procedures.
• Perform line checks and verify in-line inspection devices.
• Enter and maintain data in the SPC database and related reports.
• Collaborate with Supervisor and production to resolve defects and implement improvements.
