Job summary

Graham Packaging Company seeks a Quality Inspector for its Modesto, CA facility. The role handles bottle and final package quality checks, trains new personnel on quality systems, and collaborates with Supervisors and production teams to ensure a quality product.

The position includes a D Shift with a $3.00 per hour differential, and requires 1–3 years in manufacturing with at least 6 months in quality. Benefits and equal opportunity employment are provided.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 to 3 years in manufacturing required.
• Minimum of 6 months quality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand, follow, and enforce safety, health, quality GMP and company policies.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects.
• Perform visual checks of bottles and final packaging on lines.
• Report defects and hold items for corrective action until resolved.
• Verify operation of in-line inspection devices (leak testers, vision systems, metal detectors).
• Enter data to SPC database and complete required documentation.
