Job summary

Medline in Tinton Falls, NJ seeks a Quality Control supervisor to oversee QC functions at the distribution center. You will manage performance, attendance, and reviews; schedule overtime; and train staff on QSR/ISO requirements.

The role requires strong FDA/QSR/ISO-13485 knowledge, experience in medical device/drug manufacturing, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years QC or similar experience.
• Prior experience in medical device and/or drug manufacturing setting.
• Intermediate knowledge of FDA/QSR/ISO-13485 guidelines.
• Intermediate knowledge of ANSI/ASQC Z1.4-current revision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; sit/stand; capable of travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage performance, attendance, monthly bonus and reviews for direct reports.
• Prioritize work schedules and schedule overtime as needed.
• Maintain open communications with Branch Management.
• Train inspectors on QSR and Board of Pharmacy rules.
• Support Quality, Regulatory and Operations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead day-to-day activities and provide input into hiring decisions.
• Operate material handling equipment as necessary.
