Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to join the Quality team at our large-scale, non-sterile compounding pharmacy. The role reports to the Quality Control Manager and focuses on inspections, compliance, and continuous quality improvement.

This onsite position runs on a night shift (M-F, 8pm-4:30am) at the New Albany facility. You will mentor QC staff, support investigations, and help uphold USP <795> and cGMP standards to ensure safe, compliant products.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of quality control or quality assurance experience in a pharmaceutical/manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of USP <795> standards and cGMP practices.
• Pharmacy-related accreditation or license is a plus and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform in-process and final product inspections across the compounding workflow.
• Ensure material and product compliance through quality checks and documentation reviews.
• Assist in investigations for deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
• Document equipment verifications and support calibration schedules (balances, pH meters).
• Support compliance with USP <795> and applicable cGMP practices.
• Participate in internal audits, third-party inspections, and audit readiness activities.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality metrics for reporting.
• Train and mentor production and pharmacy staff on QC procedures and standards.
• Draft and revise SOPs, work instructions, and related documents.
