Job summary

Grain Millers INC in Saint Ansgar, Iowa is seeking a 4 on 4 off Night Shift Quality Assurance Technician from 6pm to 6:30am. The QA Tech approves shipments and analyzes records to ensure product meets specifications for safe quality.

Candidates with an Associate's degree in food science or related field are preferred, but we will train capable individuals. The role requires alertness, ability to climb stairs, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a food science or related field, or equivalent training.
• Willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
• Ability to multitask and work as part of a team with good decision making.
• Able to work a 12-hour overnight shift and on feet.

Responsibilities

• Approve and sign off on shipments of industrial products.
• Analyze and maintain records on incoming grain, in-process product, and finished product.
• Report QA issues to management and operators to ensure product safety and quality.
• Perform moisture, density, absorption, granulation, enzyme level checks and foreign material counts.
