Job summary

Peet’s Coffee is seeking a QA Technician to monitor production lines, conduct testing, and support quality initiatives. You will work on 3rd shift (11:30pm–7:00am) and assist with GMP walkthroughs, audits, and non-conforming product processes, while using Redzone and MES for task tracking.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing QA (food preferred), attention to detail, strong communication, and comfort with digital data entry. Eligible for health benefits, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Two years of quality assurance in manufacturing, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Experience with third-party audit processes such as AIB or similar.
• Experience with digital data entry systems (Tablets/iPads) or MES; Redzone experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality, food safety, and production standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across production and quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and analysis on all production lines to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.
• Assist with monthly plant inspections, GMP walkthroughs, and Glass & Brittle Plastic audits.
• Utilize Redzone system to track quality tasks and document results.
• Assist with non-conforming product processes with accurate reporting and documentation.
• Maintain safe, timely completion of department tasks while upholding GMP and sanitation practices.
