Job summary

H.T. Prof Executive Search is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for a confidential beverage manufacturer in the Roanoke area. The role leads QA personnel on the production floor and in the laboratory to ensure food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

You will develop your team, evaluate results, support audits, and drive process improvements. Responsibilities include coaching, training, and performance feedback, collaborating with Production to address quality concerns, managing QA

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in biology, chemistry, food science, health sciences, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or QA setting.
• Experience with food safety, quality systems, and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA personnel on production floor and in the laboratory.
• Develop team members through coaching, training, and feedback.
• Partner with Production and other departments to address quality concerns.
• Oversee quality management programs, documentation, training, and audits.
• Review laboratory results, investigate exceptions, and identify trends.
• Suggest process improvements based on data and quality performance.
• Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits and certifications.
• Drive continuous improvement to strengthen product quality and customer satisfaction.
