Job summary

Atkore is seeking a PVC Production Supervisor for the Night Shift based in Weatherford, TX. You will supervise production associates responsible for manufacturing PVC pipe and conduit products, reporting to the Operations Manager.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, with strong preference for plastics extrusion background, and robust leadership and lean skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in plastic pipe/conduit extrusion strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, including conflict resolution.
• Lean/WCM/GMP background and desire to grow lean experience.
• Able to solve problems and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead using Atkore Business System and Lean tools to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Develop plans to engage and improve performance of the production team.
• Instill a positive team atmosphere by holding regular meetings and empowering team members.
• Implement cross training to maximize line readiness.
• Coach team in root-cause analyses and countermeasures.
• Control labor, materials, and equipment utilization to meet production goals.
• Ensure safety standards, schedules, and quality specifications.
• Manage vacation schedules and overtime.
