Job summary

Atkore International Group in Weatherford, TX is hiring a Night Shift Maintenance Technician III to support production by ensuring proper operation of equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, locate root causes, and operate power tools to reduce downtime.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, multi-demand environment.
• Must follow safety rules and use personal protective equipment as required.
• Must supply own hand tools and toolbox.
• Experience with installation and repair of machinery.
• Good math skills for quick and accurate calculations.
• Attention to detail, time management, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, improve, and possibly modify and build machines to aid and improve PVC pipe manufacture.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery following manufacturer instructions.
• Locate root causes by observing equipment and using precision testing tools.
• Remove and repair defective parts using cranes, hoists and hand tools.
• Assist in changeovers, line setups, startups, and shutdowns to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair equipment used to manufacture, package, convey, store, and manipulate PVC conduit.
