Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician III based in Weatherford, TX. You will support production and quality by ensuring proper operation of equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and locating root causes to reduce downtime.

The role requires operating power tools and machinery and coordinating with the Maintenance Lead. The position covers 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shifts, with responsibilities spanning machine repair, PM checks, and line changeovers to minimize downtime, with a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow safety rules and work rigorously.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, improve and possibly modify machines used to manufacture PVC pipe products.
• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, and production equipment.
• Identify root causes by observing equipment and using precision tools.
• Operate power equipment and tools as needed.
• Assist in changeovers, line setup, startups and shutdowns to minimize downtime.
• Repair and fabricate parts using shop tools and equipment.
