Job summary

Atkore International is seeking a PVC Production Supervisor for Night Shift based in Weatherford, TX. You will supervise production associates responsible for manufacturing PVC Pipe & Conduit products, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, with plastic pipe/conduit extrusion experience strongly preferred. You will lead with lean practices and develop your team.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in plastic pipe/conduit extrusion strongly preferred.
• High energy, strong work ethic, schedule flexibility, and ability to work additional hours based on business needs.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, including conflict resolution.
• Continuous improvement background (lean, WCM, GMP, etc.) and the passion to grow your lean experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead using the Atkore Business System and Lean Daily Management to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.
• Develop plans to engage and improve performance of production team members.
• Instill a positive team atmosphere and coordinate support services.
• Implement cross training to ensure proper function of production lines.
• Coach team members to identify problems, perform root cause analyses, and implement countermeasures.
• Control and optimize labor, materials and equipment to achieve production goals.
• Ensure safety standards, schedules, and quality specifications are met.
• Manage vacation schedules and overtime.
• Lead by example and live Atkore values.
