Job summary

Atkore is hiring for a PVC Manufacturing Material Handler on the night shift (8:00pm–8:00am). The role involves ensuring alignment with the production schedule, performing quality control checks, packaging finished pipe, and operating a forklift with Atkore certification provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Good understanding of basic math for counting and calculations.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Commitment to safety and clean working environment.

Responsibilities

• Confirm the product running on each extrusion line with the Production schedule.
• Assist with Quality Control duties including monitor saw cuts, pipe length, bell fit, print line confirmation, chamfer/bevel, and reference line spacing.
• Package finished pipe in proper crate quantities.
• Weigh and transport finished product via forklift (Atìkore certification will be provided).
• Cut crate boards to proper lengths and adjust if needed.
• Assist with start-up and changeover of PVC extrusion lines.
• Understand how to get pipe into specification and identify out-of-spec products.
• Perform maintenance and cleanup for production and storage areas.
• Proficient with all material handling and packaging devices.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
