Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. in Mason City, IA is seeking a Production Technician for the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:00pm–10:00pm). This role oversees the production process from raw materials to finished goods, including packaging equipment and warehousing, while following GMP and HACCP procedures.

You will monitor processes, perform start-up/shutdown, assist with maintenance and lab analyses, ensure feed safety, and handle shipping/receiving, logs, and housekeeping. PPE and safety rules apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or technical certification in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Animal Science, or related field preferred.
• 1-4+ years manufacturing, feed production, or industrial setting experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and control of production process from raw materials to finished goods.
• Operate packaging equipment and warehousing operations following GMP and HACCP SOPs.
• Perform start-up/shutdown of manufacturing processes and maintain log sheets and production records.
• Assist in maintenance activities and lab analyses on raw materials and finished goods.
• Ensure feed safety compliance and proper documentation; manage shipping/receiving duties.
