Job summary

Leggett & Platt Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor for the night shift to ensure safe, efficient operation of the department, aligned with quality goals and production targets.

You will collaborate with Safety/Environmental Director, Customer Service, HR, Maintenance, Quality, and Master Scheduler to drive daily operations. The role emphasizes leadership, problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes used by the company.
• Good communication skills and the ability to motivate employees.

Responsibilities

• Identify and stop non-conformances related to products, processes, or the quality systems.
• Lead safety initiatives and maintain a safe working environment.
• Oversee department training, scheduling, and TPM activities.
• Ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance in the department.
• Coordinate with Master Scheduler, Superintendents, and maintenance teams.
• Schedule and organize product flow to meet department goals.
• Complete necessary paperwork in Intelex by set due dates.
• Monitor overtime and drive improvements in processes.
