Job summary

Leggett & Platt is seeking a Shift Superintendent in Missouri to lead the Triad Process, ensuring safety, quality and efficient production. You will coordinate with Safety/Environmental, Quality, and Maintenance teams and manage supervisors to meet daily goals.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree with strong manufacturing knowledge, MRPl logic, and proven supervisory experience. Evening or overnight shifts are required and the role emphasizes safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Intimate knowledge of the manufacturing process used by the company.
• Good understanding of MRP logic and numerical data.
• Ability to supervise a large team in a manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to work evening or overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Identify and stop non-conformances related to products, processes, or quality systems.
• Lead safety teams and ensure OSHA compliance where applicable.
• Oversee production and coordinate with supervisors to maintain efficiency.
• Communicate with sales about quantities and packaging for accuracy.
