Job summary

H. T. PROF Group in Olyphant, PA is seeking a dynamic Production Supervisor for the night shift to oversee production operations, safeguard safety and quality, and drive key performance targets.

Lead a team, assign tasks, track performance, manage absences, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining GMP compliance, 5S standards, and continuous improvement efforts. You will coach staff, conduct regular reviews, and coordinate shift handovers to sustain an efficient, high-performing operation.

Qualifications

• Vocational or associate degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in assessing employee skills and coordinating training efforts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.
• Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and resource management.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with production equipment and technical operations.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team, managing task assignments, performance tracking, and absences.
• Oversee production line activities, ensuring equipment functionality and quality.
• Monitor and report on KPIs to meet shift quality and delivery goals.
• Facilitate employee training and development to meet standards.
• Ensure continuous quality monitoring and initiate corrective actions for deviations.
• Identify and resolve production issues, driving continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Encourage a high-performance culture through coaching and development.
• Contribute to operational planning by evaluating shift performance and resources.
• Coordinate shift handovers and manage personnel schedules.
• Ensure GMP compliance and maintain areas per 5S and CI methodologies.
• Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the role.
