Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to handle high stress environment.
• 95% of time on the production floor assisting and helping the employees achieve department goals.
• Production area is not climate controlled and may experience extreme temperatures.
• Ability to lift 50-80 lbs., push / pull 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain OSHA, ADOSH and AIB compliance at all times.
• Plans, organizes and implements improvement processes to achieve goals.
• Ensure direct reports work safely, effectively and efficiently.
• Play an active role in training personnel and upwards progression.
• Perform daily quality inspection of finished products.
• Monitor and assess employee performance and provide guidance.
• Complete shift reports and submit daily reports.
• Troubleshoot, recommend, investigate and provide solutions.
• Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize output.
• Review production schedules and work orders to determine workload.
• Develop, support and motivate production employees in applying company values.
• Utilize personnel and resources with optimal outcomes.
• Maintain positive, respectful communication with team members.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in all areas.
