Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Supervisor in Manufacturing to lead daily operations, assign work, monitor progress, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprints reading ability, and effective communication within a multi-shift team. Responsibilities include staffing, performance evaluation, training, and maintaining records while collaborating with other supervisors.

Qualifications

• Two year associate degree and/or 3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of AWS requirements for welded structures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with email, Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Demonstrates initiative and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Gives daily work assignments to Shop personnel and prioritizes work based on schedules and supervisor input.
• Monitors progress on daily work schedules to ensure satisfactory progress.
• Maintains attendance and performance records; provides daily payroll reports.
• Evaluates performance in safety, quality, productivity, and attendance; initiates training or corrective action.
• Manages staffing levels; interviews and selects candidates.
• Communicates with other department supervisors; participates in meetings.
• Conducts one-on-one communications with subordinates about progress and opportunities.
• Uses Epicor/Vantage production jobs effectively.
• Ensures safety and compliance; supports continuous improvement initiatives.
• Additional duties as assigned.
