Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead 20–40 manufacturing employees and 1–3 lead operators on 12-hour shifts (6 PM–6:30 AM). You will plan and assign work, coach staff, and drive improvements in safety, quality, and productivity across the plant.

This role requires strong knowledge of Lean, 5S, and COS initiatives, plus ability to manage schedules, performance reviews, and inventories while supporting training and travel to other plants when needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes pertaining to the construction industry.
• Knowledge of safety procedures such as lock out, tag out.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office suite, etc.).
• Able to identify possible quality defects and causes and knowledgeable of corrective actions.
• Prior experience with Lean Manufacturing and 5s
• Effective communication and writing skills.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Able to use measuring gauges such as tape measures.
• Efficient problem-solving skills and ability to work in stressful work situations.

Responsibilities

• Direct, Train and Supervises the daily activities of the production work centers, delegating responsibilities to attain deadlines and goals.
• Works with operations management to determine labor requirements and hires personnel according to budgeting plans.
• Perform administrative tasks such as writing performance reviews and creating performance reports.
• Ensure PPE compliance and enforce safety regulations.
