Job summary

Carlisle Companies seeks a seasoned production leader to oversee manufacturing, drive process improvements, and reduce operating costs while ensuring safe, compliant production meeting specifications and customer expectations. Strong leadership, Lean, Six Sigma, and ERP experience are essential.

You will coach and develop employees, manage staffing and scheduling, and collaborate across departments to sustain a high-performance production culture and meet evolving production demands.

Qualifications

• Must have 5-7 years of production management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Six Sigma and Lean background is a plus.
• Experience interacting with a variety of personnel levels and work teams, handling multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing of products and assist with improvement projects while reducing operating costs.
• Lead and coach hourly staff; assign duties, train, evaluate, and discipline subordinate employees fairly and consistently.
• Develop team members to be adept problem solvers using COS lean tools and methodologies.
• Interface with departments to foster a strong team-building environment across all levels and shifts.
• Ensure knowledge of processes and products, cost structure, and use of ERP/SAP systems.
• Support payroll, productivity, job evaluation, and safety procedures; uphold quality system literacy and SPC.
