Job summary
Carlisle Company is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead 10–20 production staff and 1–3 lead operators. You will plan workloads, coach staff, and implement production improvements while ensuring safety and adherence to procedures.
A 40-hour standard week with occasional overtime and up to 10% travel to other plants for training. Applicant should have experience in wood products, Lean manufacturing, and strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certificate preferred.
- 5+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in wood products or related industry preferred.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Experience with Lean and 5S.
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise daily production activities for multiple work centers.
- Plan and assign work, coach and develop staff, and manage performance reviews.
- Ensure safety regulations and PPE usage; enforce company policies.
- Monitor inventory with cycle counts and reconcile variances.
- Lead continuous improvement projects and support plant management.
- Maintain time and attendance records and support payroll data.
