Job summary

Alleguard, a leader in protective packaging, seeks a shift supervisor to manage materials and production planning for the assigned shift. You will supervise performance and development of subordinates and ensure efficient scheduling to meet shift objectives.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires flexibility for a 8pm-4am schedule and focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Comprehensive knowledge of product production.
Strong leadership skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision - self starter.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Graduation from High School; including or supplemented by vocational training.
Minimum three (3) years employment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Oversees and ensures proper production planning and scheduling are carried out during the assigned shift.
Monitors and addresses activities to prevent deviations from production schedules.
Balance the level of labor cost and machine requirements during assigned shift.
Responsible for the motivation and development of subordinates to optimize their performance and personal growth.
Oversee routine housekeeping as required.
Performs any other tasks as may be assigned by the Plant Manager.
Assist in related department activities and perform related duties, as required.
