Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a plant operations leader responsible for directing daily production, ensuring quality and safety, and driving cost improvements in an Indianapolis-area facility.

You will identify bottlenecks, guide teams through problem solving, and uphold standard work while mentoring staff and maintaining a food-safe environment. Strong leadership and communications are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3-5 years supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience in a food processing/manufacturing environment is a plus
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead team members to execute daily production plans that meet quality, productivity, and cost standards
• Identify operational issues or bottlenecks and lead structured, team-based problem-solving efforts to resolve them
• Monitor production performance to ensure established standards are maintained
• Support employee development through training, coaching, and performance feedback
• Support oversight of sanitation and operations to maintain a clean, food-safe environment
• Ensure adherence to plant rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Promote and support plant and company safety programs and compliance with defined safety requirements
• Participate in development of daily plans and delivery of daily line performance
• Drive execution and sustainment of standard work to achieve daily direction setting results
• Lead shift handoff meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment between shifts
