Job summary

Conagra Brands in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a machine operator to safely run plant equipment and support packaging and processing to meet national demand. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, quality checks, and sanitation tasks onsite on West 62nd Street, reporting to the Reddi-wip Team Lead.

The role requires 1+ years of experience, physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, and a rotating 6:00 PM–6:30 AM schedule.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of machine operator experience.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work a rotating day‑shift schedule of 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (three weeks Monday–Wednesday followed by three weeks Thursday–Saturday). Potential to work Sundays depending on production needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant equipment in a safe manner to meet planned performance expectations.
• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Complete quality checks as outlined in established procedures.
• Participate in routine sanitation processes utilizing specific chemicals.
• Communicate with the Team Lead and Maintenance to address equipment issues promptly.
• Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.
• Complete other tasks or projects as assigned.
