Job summary

American Bath Group (ABG) is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Bootz operation. The role leads a night-shift team of 8–12, ensuring safe, efficient and consistent performance, with emphasis on quality, cost management and operational discipline.

The successful candidate will provide visible floor leadership, coach employees, enforce safety procedures, and drive continuous improvement across production metrics in a heavy manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Ownership and ability to make sound, timely decisions in production/operational settings.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and enforcing safety requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and accountability for the shift.
• Ability to work the required night-shift schedule with reliable attendance.
• Proven on-site leader in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication, with attention to documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop approximately 8-12 production employees.
• Maintain consistent floor presence and responsibility for shift performance.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices (PPE, lockout/tagout, etc.).
• Monitor hourly production, output, and product mix to targets.
• Ensure quality checks are completed accurately and consistently.
• Monitor scrap, material usage, and controllable production costs.
• Make routine decisions during the shift and escalate when needed.
• Document downtime, coaching, performance, discipline, and quality events.
• Support training and communication across a multilingual workforce.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste.
