Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations’ Fiberon plant in New London, NC seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a shift team responsible for cladding and decking products, focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

You’ll guide a 12‑hour night shift (6:00 PM–7:30 AM on a 2‑2‑3 schedule), mentor staff, maintain SOPs, and partner with EH&S and HR to enforce policies while achieving production goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of balancing continuous improvement & quality with safety requirements in manufacturing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts in a continuous manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities of associates in manufacturing within the assigned department and shift.
• Ensure key operating metrics are achieved with focus on safety, quality, on‑time delivery and cost.
• Create, maintain, and audit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with associates, leaders, EH&S, and HR to apply and enforce company policies and safety rules.
• Maintain accurate time and attendance records for manufacturing associates.
• Promote clean, safe work areas and address hazardous conditions.
• Identify and guide production associates in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and engage manufacturing staff to ensure proper training and safe use of equipment and tools.
• Foster a PAR culture through coaching and feedback.
