Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Fiberon brand in New London, NC. You will lead a team responsible for manufacturing quality cladding and decking products, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while fostering continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of supervisory manufacturing experience and can coach a team across a night shift (2-2-3 schedule). This role offers growth and competitive pay with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of balancing continuous improvement, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, delegation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a continuous manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the activities and associates engaged in the manufacturing of products within their assigned department and shift.
• Assure key operating metrics are achieved by focusing on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost, and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
• Create, maintain, and audit Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and processes.
• Collaborate with associates, leaders, EH&S, and HR to interpret, apply, and consistently enforce all company policies, programs, regulations, and safety rules.
• Maintain accurate time and attendance records for manufacturing associates.
• Promote clean, safe work areas throughout the plant by continuously checking for and resolving hazardous conditions.
• Identify, support, and guide production associates in continuous improvement activities/initiatives.
• Develop, guide, and engage manufacturing associates to ensure they have the proper training and support to utilize all equipment and tools.
• Foster an environment with challenging work, regular coaching, and feedback to manufacturing associates to support and enhance our PAR culture.
