Freshpet is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor for its Night Shift to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring high quality and profitability. You will lead a safety-conscious team, organize workflows, and analyze processes to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment; preferable in a food manufacturing facility.
• Strong analytical, written/verbal communications, interpersonal skills and the ability to work well across all levels of the organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; especially Excel
• Knowledge of time and attendance systems
• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing techniques
• Experience implementing SQF programs preferred
• Strong understanding of the sanitation process in a food manufacturing facility

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure the safety of production team members.
• Facilitate daily/weekly production to meet efficiency, quality and delivery goals.
• Review production records for accuracy and maintain proper documentation.
• Ensure sanitation, housekeeping, and overall cleanliness meet quality standards.
• Maintain OSHA and environmental compliance and GMPs.
• Analyze labor efficiency and scheduling; manage overtime and attendance.
• Develop direct reports and set clear goals for performance.
• Conduct regular team meetings and communicate with HR as needed.
