Job summary

Essentia is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead all activities of an assigned team, including safety, quality, fulfillment, cost, and inventory, ensuring production of a quality product in line with cGMP and company procedures.

The role requires five years in manufacturing with at least three years in leadership; food-processing leadership and continuous improvement experience are preferred. This position works a challenging shift schedule and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' manufacturing experience.
• Minimum three years of leadership experience.
• Leadership in a food processing environment preferred.
• Continuous improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to safety, quality and production goals.
• Oversee costs, scheduling, shipping/receiving and quality.
• Ensure food safety and quality programs are followed.
• Drive root-cause problem solving for vendor and customer issues.
• Maintain a safe, healthy work environment.
• Foster continuous improvement in cost, quality and safety.
• Investigate incidents and conduct training.
• Perform audits and inspections and manage documentation.
• Support team development and engagement.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
