Job summary

MGP Ingredients is seeking a Production Shift Manager for night shift to lead a team, manage daily production needs, and ensure safe, efficient operation. You will supervise 10-15 hourly employees, enforce policies, and coordinate with Operations Managers to optimize throughput and safety on the 7pm–7am shift.

Responsibilities include directing direct reports, maintaining SAP documentation, scheduling, overtime approvals, and driving continuous improvement through CIP, SEMS, GMP, and food safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering or 5-10 years related experience.
• CPR/First Aid, SEMS & Process Safety Management, HACCP/BRC/RCA, GMP, Food Safety, Incident Commander, SAP
• 3-5 years manufacturing experience.
• Strong interpersonal communication, problem resolution, technical abilities, and MS Office skills; SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach direct reports; coordinate production requirements for the shift.
• Enforce policies; conduct meetings; prioritize equipment repair and training.
• Create shift schedules and approve overtime; communicate with outside agencies as needed.
• Analyze processes to maximize throughput; implement process improvements.
• Maintain SAP data and daily production reports.
