Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a production supervisor to direct and supervise production personnel, ensuring a safe and efficient operation on a 12-hour night shift. This role focuses on safety audits, adherence to schedules, and continuous improvement within a two-company manufacturing environment including ORBIS Corporation.

Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years in production with at least 2 years of formal leadership, plus a high school diploma or a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• 2 years of experience in a formal leadership position.
• Ability to direct and supervise production personnel to achieve safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a safe working environment for all employees, including auditing unsafe behaviors and conditions and timely reporting safety incidents.
• Execute production priorities per the work schedule meeting customer demands.
• Manage and direct plant floor activities to improve utilization of company resources, such as material and labor.
• Respond timely to all quality and personnel issues regarding parts and processes.
• Confer with plant personnel and other departments to review activities and operating reports to determine changes in operations.
• Maintain a high degree of plant floor visibility throughout the shift.
• Facilitate and execute continuous improvement activities.
• Promote LEAF and employee engagement activities to create and maintain a positive work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
