Job summary

Your Talent Team is seeking a dynamic Production Supervisor to lead the night shift in Olyphant, PA. You will oversee production operations, ensure safety and quality, and drive performance through coaching, training, and KPI monitoring.

Responsibilities include coordinating training, evaluating shift performance, and maintaining compliance with GMP and 5S standards while continuously improving processes to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Vocational or associate degree in a technical field is required or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in assessing employee skills and coordinating training efforts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels.
• Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and resource management.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with production equipment and technical operations.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team, managing task assignments, performance tracking, and absences to ensure seamless operations.
• Oversee production line activities, ensuring equipment functionality, adherence to quality standards, and timely achievement of production goals.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators to meet shift-level quality and delivery objectives.
• Facilitate employee training and development, ensuring team members are equipped with necessary skills to meet operational standards.
• Ensure continuous quality monitoring and initiate corrective actions for any deviations from standards.
• Identify and resolve production issues, promoting continuous improvement and process enhancements.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, offering constructive feedback and supporting professional growth.
• Encourage a high-performance culture through coaching and development aligned with training strategies.
• Contribute to operational planning by evaluating shift-level performance and resource availability.
• Coordinate shift handovers and manage personnel schedules to maintain operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain areas according to 5S and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the position.
