Job summary

Mach10 Solutions in Comer, GA is seeking a motivated Shift Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing activities with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity. You will guide production staff, manage shift tasks, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

This 6pm-6am 2-2-3 rotation role requires hands-on leadership, lean thinking, and strong communication to meet deadlines and client specifications while maintaining a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing leadership role, ideally within automotive or composites.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire production teams.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, hands-on production facility.
• Comprehensive knowledge of production workflows and manufacturing systems.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Strong capacity for critical thinking and decisive problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational communication skills.
• Competency in utilizing reporting software and standard computer applications.
• High school diploma or GED; additional relevant certifications are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide production staff to foster professional growth
• Achieve production goals and quality benchmarks to ensure timely deliveries
• Optimize operational efficiency by overseeing resource allocation and staffing
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team
• Facilitate shift briefings to ensure all team members understand daily objectives
• Address and troubleshoot production obstacles as they arise
• Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality departments to resolve operational challenges
• Assist in the integration and training of incoming staff members
• Improve overall shift productivity by tracking and reporting key performance metrics
• Support lean manufacturing and waste reduction efforts to enhance processes
• Maintain adherence to organizational guidelines and client specifications
