Job summary

Nexus Circular is seeking a skilled Shift Supervisor to lead & oversee production on a designated shift at our Atlanta-area manufacturing plant. You will drive safety, quality, reliability, and productivity while mentoring a team of production operators to meet daily targets.

You will coordinate with maintenance and quality teams, implement continuous improvement initiatives, maintain shift records, and promote a proactive safety culture in a fast-paced, capital-intensive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a shift supervisor in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control.
• Proficient with data entry, reporting and analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of production operators to meet targets.
• Manage shift performance in productivity, quality, and safety.
• Set daily production goals and communicate effectively.
• Monitor processes and implement improvements.
• Ensure SOP compliance and conduct audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize flow.
• Train and develop operators.
• Maintain production records and logs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support safety culture and coordinate maintenance.
• Assist in onboarding new team members.
• Be a key member of plant emergency response team.
