Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Cold Spring, MN night shift to support daily production across multiple departments in the 3rd Processing area. You will help coordinate workflow, monitor activities, and uphold safety, quality, and productivity standards on the production floor.

This entry-level leadership role emphasizes hands-on guidance, problem-solving, and collaboration with department leaders to develop supervisory skills and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Experience: leadership experience in a supporting role preferred; poultry/food industry experience a plus.
• Skills: effective communication, independent decision-making, basic computer knowledge, ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on supervisor training to prepare for placement in a department-specific supervisor role.
• Experience various disciplines and areas of interest, while also exploring the foundations of the business at the plant level.
• Provide training and create a positive work environment to help employees reach their highest potential in quality and productivity.
• Organize manpower, materials, equipment, and production schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee employee performance and offer constructive feedback, both positive and corrective.
• Encourage open communication and employee involvement to build team morale and support company values.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for quality improvement, cost savings, and process enhancements.
• Ensure safety standards are followed and promote a safe working environment for all team members.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the Plant Operations Team
• Attend several leadership and process training sessions to develop your leadership skills as well as your people and process management skills. This includes a week-long trip to the Corporate HQ in Greeley, CO
