Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Cold Spring, Minnesota is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor – Night Shift to lead FSQA and quality programs, including HACCP and SSOP, on the assigned shift. The role supervises hourly QA technicians, coordinates training, and ensures regulatory compliance.

We expect a background in poultry processing, strong leadership, and the ability to work nights. Collaboration with Operations and USDA is essential to maintain product safety and customer quality programs.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Associate degree preferred; or 3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.
• Certifications: GFSI (BRC) training preferred.
• Experience: Supervisory experience required, preferably in poultry processing or slaughter operations; understands USDA and OSHA regulations.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus; strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead FSQA team activities, implementing food safety and quality programs like HACCP and SSOP.
• Coordinate training and ensure safety, reporting unsafe acts to prevent incidents.
• Communicate quality procedures and provide classroom and hands-on training.
• Collaborate with operations and USDA personnel to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support root cause analysis for issue resolution and follow customer quality programs.
• Manage hourly QA technicians, scheduling and timekeeping (Kronos).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
