Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a frontline Plant Supervisor to lead daily operations on the poultry production floor, ensuring targets are met while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency. You’ll train and organize teams, monitor equipment, and ensure smooth workflow across shifts.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to a safe, productive workplace. Night shifts are required to support 24/7 operations at the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience with leadership of 20 employees preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Effective communication both orally and in writing; independent decision making; basic computer knowledge; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and create a positive work environment to help employees reach their highest potential in quality and productivity.
• Organize manpower, materials, equipment, and production schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee employee performance and offer constructive feedback, both positive and corrective.
• Encourage open communication and employee involvement to build team morale and support company values.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for quality improvement, cost savings, and process enhancements.
• Ensure safety standards are followed and promote a safe working environment for all team members.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the Plant Operations Team
