Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift to maintain high production, quality, and yields while upholding safety standards. You will manage staffing, training, and line maintenance, coordinating with other supervisors to optimize processes and ensure USDA-compliant operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 1+ years in manufacturing with prior supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; vocational or college courses preferred.
• 1+ years in a manufacturing environment; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work 3rd shift (10pm–6:30am) and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, retain, and counsel team; educate on benefits and policies.
• Guide the team with stretch breaks and rotate workstations.
• Review daily production orders, ensure accurate shipments and record-keeping.
• Ensure all stations are staffed before production starts.
• Oversee machinery performance and maintain safety; lead monthly safety meetings.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to solve problems and ensure quality.
• Provide ongoing education on quality and best practices.
