Job summary

Vericast is hiring for a packaging operator in High Point, NC. The role involves operating the packaging system, monitoring quality and efficiency, and performing start-up/shut-down and preventive maintenance on equipment. You will sample and adjust product quality, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accurate production records.

The position offers shift-based hours on a Sunday–Thursday schedule with a competitive hourly rate plus differential, plus benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of machine operating or production experience in a team setting preferred.
• Mechanical ability is a plus, helps performance.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 70 pounds occasionally and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate the packaging system, monitor performance, and ensure quality.
• Start-up, shut-down and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Sample product quality and adjust as needed to maintain standards.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues to correct and stabilize performance.
• Replenish materials as they are depleted.
• Maintain production, efficiency and quality records for the packaging line.
• Complete the production process by operating bindery/packaging equipment.
