Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (11:50pm - 8:00am) to set up, operate, and maintain plastic molding equipment on our Greensboro, NC line.

The role ensures products meet quality standards while following safety protocols and production schedules. You will perform routine maintenance, inspect output, and document results, collaborating with nearby teams to resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred (technical training plus).
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Experience in plastics or packaging industry is a plus.
• Working knowledge of computer operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to established procedures.
• Monitor machine performance during operation and adjust as needed to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Check and maintain defined levels of all raw materials used in production on assigned machinery. Keep all assigned machines and areas neat and clean of debris.
• Evaluate and discuss the operation of assigned machinery with the Machine Operator from the previous shift.
• Maintain appropriate levels of raw materials and notify supervision when replenishment is needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
